Welcome
Welcome to Mastrick & District Men’s Shed and Springhill Community Garden, a friendly and inclusive community hub in the heart of Aberdeen.
Together, we provide opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds to come together, learn new skills, improve wellbeing, build friendships, and make a positive difference in the local community.
The Men’s Shed offers a supportive environment where people can share practical skills, work on projects, enjoy social activities and connect with others. Alongside this, Springhill Community Garden provides a welcoming green space where volunteers can grow food, care for the environment, learn about nature and take part in community activities.
Working in partnership allows us to combine the strengths of both organisations, creating a vibrant shared space that promotes health, wellbeing, learning, creativity and community involvement.
Whether you are interested in woodworking, gardening, volunteering, community projects, environmental activities, or simply meeting new people, there is a place for you here.
Working Together
In 2026, Mastrick & District Men’s Shed and Springhill Community Garden formally strengthened their partnership to help secure the long-term future of both projects. By working together, the organisations are able to share resources, attract new volunteers, improve governance and develop exciting new opportunities for the community.
Today, the Garden operates as a project of Mastrick & District Men’s Shed SCIO, supported by a dedicated Garden Working Party that helps guide its development and day-to-day activities.
Together, we are creating a vibrant community hub where people can enjoy gardening, practical projects, environmental activities, learning opportunities and social connections.
